I’m just running some shock extenders on top of my OME nitrocharger until I can get the proper length kings to match my coilovers

You've been running 3* shims and a .75in DS spacer, correct? Any major vibration reduction from that setup rather than just a CB drop bracket and no shims?

yeah, well, I dont think I need the shims at all, from what I heard Allpro springs dont need them. I just havent taken them out yet; waiting on getting my Tercel fixed before I mess with the truck again lol. BUT i do have the OME CB drop too, and what cure my vibrations...none of these...I had 2 bad Ujoints and replaced them and it had gone away lol. I still have a small vibration which could be shim related, but i also have a whole truck shake im not sure whats causing it....so yeah, lol

    Wow, ok...
Need Tercel pics for proof  What have you done to that now?
Where did you purchase your u joints, OEM toyota stuff or?
I'm just trying to figure out what I need myself, I guess I'll go with the CB drop for now and go from there, maybe shims if it gets worse, or replace those ujoints. My inner CB bushing moves a lot as well, maybe its shot and causing my vibrations.

hahaha, yeah lol, been trying to fix an oil leak that started but i havent gotten to work on her since before the holidays lol. was waiting for a timing cover to come in but it didnt show up until after i left.

yeah cb drop is typically the first place to start then check the ujoints and carrier bearing

Damn, got the same thing on my taco, timing cover is leaking also. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, still waiting to see you go LT on the 06'... ;)
I'll keep that in mind, going to purchase the cb drop from rogue off road here and have them do a power steering pump replacement and do the timing chain and cover seal all at the same time, hopefully I can get it done this month to finally install my somewhat of a new "suspension".

The mods have probably changed since last update.
Hey guys, curious to hear some different opinions out there and this is always fun to do. Lets say you have a budget anywhere between $1,500-$2,000 for your lift. Obviously, you are trying to pay the least amount of money without sacrificing quality. You've already ordered your maxtrac's, so now lets say you got anywhere from $900-$1,400 for coils, shocks, and rear suspension. You're ideal height is anywhere from 4-6 inches (but would prefer to be below 6).

What you going with? I talked a little about this with @ChadsPride the other day hahaha.

Dakar leaf packs (extended rear brake lines, not necessary...but if budget allows might as well)

Longer Ubolts for those (possibly Ubolt flip kit, not necessary....but kinda neat)

Front I would say 884's with 5100's set to "zero" setting

Should yield 6.5" lift but settle down right into 6

Could always go with an 883 coil and be able to play with ride height via the clip settings on the 5100s

So so many options. I will let somebody else chime in lol

I will chime in and echo this. It sounds like you are unsure what exact ride height you want so I would say go with the 883's so you can go lower if you want. Also I think @ChadsPride forgot rear shocks, of course you will need those. The B110's are good but may be a little too long with the Dakar's, not too sure, I know the OME nitrochargers work very well with the Dakar's.
