@StOrMyThEtAcO probably just call anyone that sells RTTs: CVT, Tepui, goose gear, TAV, etc.

 

Sucks we had such a bad storm though

 

@90yota Bythe time I got up there it was sunny, and pretty loose, finally was a bit emptier than the past few weeks though. Any day it wants to dump 10 feet that’d be great

 

I didn't bother bringing my skis from Montana. I've been in Truckee the last 2 weeks and considered camping in the RTT. Lol did the Rubicon instead though.

 

how much snow does it have now? few weeks ago was just a light dusting on the Rubicon

 

Rubicon was mainly dry but the shaded areas were all ice and some of the puddles were interesting getting through.

 

Awesome! I haven't been up there in years! My cousin is up there ALLLLLL the time. His club does Rubicon runs constantly

 

How’s the rubicon? I’ve never done it. If I’ve got the time off I can always find an excuse to rack out in the tent. How long are you in Truckee for.

 

It's awesome it was my first time up there. Kinda sad cuz I grew up in Truckee and never had a rig to go. I leave tomorrow unfortunately. I miss this place. I wouldn't attempt it without full skids, sliders and lots of recovery gear. I high centered a few times. At the lookout would be an awesome camping spot.

 

That's awesome. I hope to make a trip this summer

 

I gotta get back up there. My cousin is building a new rig this year too. I grew up in Carson City and was just up there, had lunch in Truckee actually. Miss that whole area. Crazy how much Truckee has blown up

 

My brother is selling his 85 4runner buggy if he's interested in a trailered rig. Its not on craigslist but i have a few pics of it. Thats awesome right down the hill. Yeah it's huge now and kinda too bougee. But the area is awesome and tons of places to wheel.

 

This is his current rig.. 85ish Toyota, tons, 42's, linked front and rear. He's basically building the same thing but narrowing the body 6 inches

 

I stripped one of the brackets on mine, so I ended up JB welding all of the bolts to the brackets and haven't had any problems since.

 

How much is he asking?

 

Send it to me, my garage isn't full yet. I'll "store" it for you.

 

I needed a zipper to remove/install the back window on my convertible. A marine shop was able to pull the right one out of a box of zipper pulls & get me set.

 

Do you have the cross straps? They mostly suck the fabric all in for you if you attach them before closing.
