Same here! It’s supposed to rain there today and tomorrow, then drop below freezing tomorrow night. Will make for interesting conditions up here for sure.

Hope you can too! If not, it’s still loads of fun. I had to pull @buyobuyo up a couple slick hills once, but that just added to the excitement IMO.

You have a sweet rig yourself. I want to run a solar panel on my roof so I will probably use your tutorial when that happens!

Thanks man! Its really a basic setup. I need to go back and clean it all up and heat shrink everything, but it works great. I highly recommend it

Simple and easy is the best way to go. Just want some power for trips without hookups to run some lights and other small things off of the back of the truck.

Yeah i agree completely. That was my main reason for just doing a standalone dual battery. I didnt feel like fooling with battery isolaters and trying to run stuff from the engine bay to the back of the truck. I just wanted a simple off the grid setup to run my fridge and other accessories out back like you mentioned.

    A thing or two...
I find speed helps a lot with getting up/over things when you're 2wd, but sometimes it's just too slick/steep and you've got no choice but to get towed.

Personally, I'd go with a LSD. I'm planning on an Eaton TrueTrac and a regear down the road.

Speed and my low gear are my friends man!

I'm looking at Powertrax No-Slip right now and will probably go with that unless I come across $1200 for and ARB and compressor.
