Yes I am thinking before the swisha loop, I already have 17 inch rim's in my shed, just need to decide on what to dress them with. I am glad I held off and did not buy ko2's. I was set on it, but now.....

yep same issue as tacos then.

Its not the height that causes the issues its the width hitting the cab mount.

Thats why Peter is running a 255 85 16 with no issues.

ya but if you have different UCA you might have an issue with them. Unless you're ok with cutting the cab mount.

I know some UCA don't cause too much of an issue, but my total chaos change the caster and camber so much it guarantees I need to do a CMC.

    New recovery set up.

Had an extra Plano bin since I upsized my camping gear one. So older one is now recovery bin. Everything in it besides hilift gear which I'll add later

@Tridet167 sorry the socks are gone. YOu now get to see my long ass toes lmao

I love Columbia stuff, it's toasty warm.
Anyway, back to tires. I have 285/70/17 and there's a little rub but nothing crazy. I been contemplating going down to 275's since there's not much difference. I would lose .5 inch overall height and .4 narrower. Get rid of the rub.

Problem with 33 tires on 2nd/3rd Gen autos is a loss of power & essentially re-gearing is required. So unless you are willing to have your MPGs dropped and truck being a slow dog go ahead and get those sexy skinny tires. Otherwise stay with either 265 or 235, for the thing's I've done so far 32" tires is more than enough and some of you seen me doing things...

For some of us a re-gear in the future will be a thing, but we have to try it out 1st and see if its actually a problem for us. :anonymous:

I see both a CMC and re-gear eventually on my rig.

So tonight I found something I did not think was a thing in North Bay. A shop you can pay a membership to and have access to 2 lifts, full tool sets, tire changer and balancer, inside wash bay and vacum bay, parts cleaner. It was everything I could think of..

$60 a year membership and small charges like $2/h when you use the lift, or wash bay, tire machine.

I signed right up for membership.:dancingbacon:
