You know exactly what you are going to do. You are going to get it home, take a few breathes and enjoy the sound of the rain on your house. Saying a thankful prayer that you have a truck and are dry. Then, you will call Toyota back and see what they say. After that, start calling other dealerships and talking to only the service manager. Get their opinion of the situation. Then no matter what they say, you sit back and think about what is the next step. One thing at a time. Just take yourself out of it for a minute and think about what you would tell a brother or sister that called you with this same problem.

While this maybe a set back, it isn't an end to your plans and dream. You will get back on the road, you will still be able to respond when one of our brothers or sisters needs your help.

Fuck me man, why even get Toyota involved if that's how they play it right? I guess the motivated individual that wanted the dealership to answer up in their excuses never followed up or was he the same guy who you are referring to? If so, talk about a 180 in trying to provide support on this matter.

    No progress at all then?
What are they claiming voided the warranty to prevent the recall service being done?

We need to start a petition or something to get them to do something about this. Unacceptable.

    Toyota dealership said
    We couldn't find anything
If you want us to keep looking we will (on your dime)
But you need to put on stock wheels/tires/shocks/leafs first
And then even if we figure out the issue
If it happens to be recall related we call corporate and they might maybe possibly maybe probably not though maybe look at doing a one time kindness to you and fix it

    I called corporate
And the same bullshit was spit out again

    We kind find an issue
    We didn't find anything
But we know it's your fault
So we have voided your warranty for your diff/driveshaft/transmission your case is now closed
    Have a nice day

    But ya know
I'm sure greens toyota in lexington could use some reviews on BBB or Facebook or yahoo or google

I know one thing, I'll never go to Greens.
There's no need to give you the run around over a vehicle and servicing it, black and white answers only!

I mean, are they trying to blame your lift and all that for affecting the rear diff?

    Yes

    They can't find an issue
    They can't find damage
But they also stopped looking after draining the diff fluid.
They can't connect any modification I made to my vehicle to any of the issues I am having but have made the determination that because my vehicle is modified out side of the scope of normal service that unless I return it to factory set up they are not willing to search anymore, and even if I do comply they will only look for a answer for my problem on my dollar

My only form of continuance at this point is legal recourse
I have no other avenue of attack unless they just got so brow beaten by other people on my behalf that they just fixed my truck to save face, even at the corporate level all they are interested in doing is spouting off the same rehearsed garbage the dealer gave me.
Corporate has closed my case and is no longer entertaining any concerns I have in relation to this.

That's just ignorance on their part.
Clearly, the issue is that your gears are shredding.

Yeah. I mean, they can be Dicks about it, we've all read about stealership horror stories like this but.... how do they account for all that backlash/noise??

Unless their whole reputation tanks overnight because of customer backlash on social media and on review rating systems like google
They won't even flinch at what just went down with me and my truck

    They don't care

Exactly right. I watched the video and read what he posted about the varying issues at different speeds. Something is bad wrong here
