Must be nice for someone to actually try instead of black listing your component and ignoring you.

Be interesting if I hypothetically drove to that dealership and asked for help on my rear differential. It'd be interesting if they denied my claim.

Seems like all my dealers in Socal tell me it's " normal". I think once your on the list you ain't getting off like me.

Nice it worked out for you!

My second diff was louder than the first unfortunately. Roll of the dice.

If they replaced it and it's still louder. That would qualify under lemon law. You may be entitled for a full buy back. My issue is they won't even acknowledge the issue. Thus, lawyers aren't willing to take the case unless it fails on me.

I find it interesting they're still replacing diffs in 2018 a la carte

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
Toyota returned my vehicle to me today via tow truck
They have decided at the corporate level that my truck has been modified outside of the realm of service conditions because I have aftermarket suspension and tires

They did not find an issue
    They did not find damage
They did not link my modifications to a failure of my vehicle in any way
They stopped searching for the reason my truck won't drive but have instructed me that it is not safe to drive

They have now voided my warranty at the corporate level for my transmission, my driveshaft, and my rear differential.
Greens Toyota of lexington Kentucky has said they will do no more work to help me with my vehicle unless I return it to complete factory conditions and still will only look at it on my dollar. And corporate Toyota has closed my case and is no longer willing to address my concerns with me

Please feel free to contact greens toyota of lexington Kentucky and tell them how you feel or leave them a review on your platform of choice.
And if anyone can recommend a good lawyer that is looking for a fight with Toyota let me know.

    Thanks

Crazy...Toyota found a easy way out with you. Essentially you did almost the same mods as the TRD Pro with the king suspension. ( looked at it via your link). Was this mods you did on your own or a shop?

The sad thing for me about buying the TRD PRO besides being disappointed, I gave up a 2007 FJ TRD with manaul. I changed out the silver bumper pieces, grill and mirrors with black TT pieces really looked cool and fun to drive. Should have kept it.

Too many but also not enough mods
Do I have to take my truck to be serviced at the dealer I bought it from or can I go to any Toyota service center??

As far as I know any Toyota certified service.

Pretty sure the “free” up to 20k services are reimbursed by Toyota corporate. I’d call ahead and confirm though.

I knew I wasn't just hearing shit. My 2017 TRD Sport has been doing it since 2K Miles... I'm at 15k now and the noise is still there, hasnt gotten louder and I can easily tune it out with music at the lowest volume, but it bugs me just knowing that it's there. I learned to live with it after two dealerships told me it was a "normal" sound for a Tacoma, that the new Tacomas are "very loud, but it's all normal." Are you fucking kidding me? Do they have to wait until my rear diff locks on me while on the highway?
