Bootlegged Final Cut Pro is an all around good software that I use. User friendly and semi easier to use.
Like mentioned before by @mwc273, GoPro's software is very easy but is limited in what you can do so it depends on how in depth you want to go with it.
Bootlegged Adobe Premiere Pro is a software where you can do about anything with, but you're going to have to sit down and learn it cause it's in depth.

Took the camera on it's maiden voyage this morning. Was going to show off the fog and terrible drivers of the tri-state.
Was also a good way to document the light changes having my headlights on, street lights, other drivers, and still dark conditions of 7-8am mornings.

Suction cup mount fell off the windshield about 5 minutes in...
:notsure: Guess I needed more slobber on it

I'll see if it's worthy of a Tube upload.

Macs absolutely shit on everything else for media editing, it's really the only reason to have one. You're an IT nerd @dirty deeds you should know this.

@Kerleyfries I may be able to help you out, I'll PM you later on

I know enough about Macs to get me in deep shit on them. Only because all our sales and field service use them. (my boss is a CrApple fan boy)
And yes, they are great for media. And.....

Macs are fantastic for stage graphics and video. That's about it. I do A/V on the side and that's the only time I'll touch them out of choice

    Exactly.

Can't say I've heard of anyone having servers running Mac OS!

The company we had build and host our database for work runs Mac OS because we had issues converting something from our windows system to their system.

You need emulators/VPNs/BootCamp to run the lesser OS on Windows-built machines. We do that here for certain people that need access to the things/apps that are Windows-based.
Can be a nightmare for your IT dept. Give them occasional mouth hugs, they will be much more receptive to your needs.

I went ahead and bought 2 over size 30deg bags. Figured if it’s nice I’ll use 1 if cold use 2 and when mama and I go together I’ll zip together and make a grande burrito ;)
