im sure its good, but there is tons of good Mexican in sac. Mexican food is easy to make, I wouldn't go out of my way to get it. now BBQ I might drive a little way for some good BBQ.
JRs off 47th by bucks outboard. best beef brisket in sac so far that I have had.
any one no good bbq places. lets here those. there harder to come by. Mexicali is everywhere and in south sac even behind buildings. lol

Of course I suppose that that Mexican food is much like our food. It depends on the area that the people making it are from. What is available for flavor and what type of meat they cook. I wouldn't expect fish tacos or shrimp from the middle of Mexico. Maybe not beef from Baja right near the beach. I'm just sayin.

BBQ? My back yard? That's good. Only because I like my own flavor.

depends were in Baja. in big citys like cabo they have refrigeration so just about anything is good there. a lot of Mexico period no refrigeration so it gets interesting. lol very salty.
Im more interested in good BBQ
but the 3 Mexican food places I eat at are more then enough for me.
Los Jarritos on broadway in sacramento good cheap ground beef tacos in fired corn tortillas.
Kincos on Arden way sacramento good red sauce on chimmies and enchiladas and strong margaritas
    then chandos of coarse.

There's types of so called bbq up here. Smokin Moe's in Chico is an ok place but very limited because of the smoke restriction in Chico. They use full steam tables to prep most of it.

I trust the mexican people for tacos and working white people for hamburgers as for bbq I rarely trust a city person that drives an SUV with 20s cook real cowboy style. That's the kind I like. Open flame or wood coals. Love that shit.

I love brisket. My favorite thing to cook. 15 hours ain't nothin. It's the sleep deprivation i thrive on. Also love pork ribs. I have the ability and equipment for 500 pounds at one time. It's bad ass with twenty Dutch ovens hanging and 500 pounds of ribs in a smoker. It one way I kick back.

Yeah, I've got friends in Chico, Chester, and Westwood. Haven't seen them in a while, and "being in the area" doesn't happen very often. BBQ seems like a great excuse!

I'll get shit together with my big smoker and my ovens. I have to trailer the smoker but a place to burn some meat where everyone can enjoy might be a chore. It would be a weekend summer time thing.
