I'm gonna need you to take me out and teach me to hunt one day if you don't mind. I've been dying to go.

 

what ya get? also i still ave your radio? We should meet up and shoot man?

Actually when are we all getting back out on a trail? any decent ones still open?

 

I have seen one while deer hunting this year, but that's it so far. I don't think they're population has decreased in my area. Maybe they have become smarter. I did see a bobcat while hunting. That was pretty cool!

 

What did you get?

I will let you know next time I head out. Was planning to go tonight or tomorrow but looks like those plans are falling apart.

Where is sleepy Creek?

@Finch1018 and I are going out this weekend, flagpole knob area.

 

I believe sleepy creek is near @Me. Projekt house. I wish I could make it but I don’t have any days off right now

 

Sleepy Creek Lake and campground is in WV about a half hour west of I-81 off the Inwood exit

 

Which day i might Take my boy and a buddy up there on Sunday ?

Love to do sleepy creek and camp flagpole again maybe a different route up or down and green ridge and camp. Also wanna do bald mtn again but get farther and maybe camp and eventually Rausch.

I've actually had things to do at work this week, so I haven't been on at all during the day. I'm on after work, just usually nothing to contribute. Put winter tires on the WRX this evening after work.

 

we're camping saturday and sunday nights, and will be screwing around that general area all weekend.

I am always down go shooting,just let me know. No rush on the radio, I'll get it whenever I see you. Peters Mill is the only trail I know of that closes in the winter, all the others I think stay open all year.
I free to hit some trails later this month or next.

 

CZ Scorpion. Thanks. I had opportunities to go hunting when I was younger, but I was never into it back then. I've thought about going by myself to some of the WMAs , but I never do. It would great if you could school me.

 

Sleepy Creek is fun. You got hills,dips,sloppy mud,rocky areas, & forest roads. Its pretty big area with a good mix of terrain. I've always had a good time there & I'm looking forward to going back.

 

Don't forget about the overhanging branches in those few tight areas.

 

Anyone interested in trying to meet up this weekend for some food/drink since it's a long weekend for a lot of us.
