The solution to the clunking bed mount from passenger front continues to elude me. Tried a thick steel washer, then later added a piece of 1/8" UHMW between the washer and the bed. Worked for a while, but it's back.

Next up: 1/4" UHMW on all 6 mounts. Figure if one mount is wearing this badly, the rest will go as well. Bed lift. That's the ticket.

Those tires are expensive, but would probably be my first choice.

I’ve narrowed it down to Bighorns, Dynapro MT’s, and the Falken instagram edition MT’s. All relatively cheaper tires in the low $200’s.

Lol. Actually though of getting 36 x 10.50 Swampers. Then I remembered that they are swampers...

    Yeah, that was the joke...

So far, my Duratracs are fine in snot but suck in deep mud. The Bighorns I had were great in the desert, but I never got to try them in mud.

Just my fucking luck. Went to get my TPMS programmed and to the wrong one. So they put in a new one and now the other side isn’t reading. This shit is getting expensive.

I do everything I can to stay out of the deep mud. The trail snot from spring thaw is unavoidable. I love my Duratracs. I do a lot of winter camping and the Duratracs are phenomenal in the snow.

I base my tire selection for winter mostly. I realize your set of parameters are different. The only tire I have ever run in the mud that I was happy with were my Goodyear MTR’s on my old first gen T4R. Great for mud, not much else though.

Man, all this Mexican food talk.

I was beboppin through my hometown yesterday and figured I would swing by Sac’s. Best damn hot dogs around. I’ve been eating their wieners since the late seventies.

By the time I had that T4R, I was done playing in the rocks. I got sick of breaking shit, bulletproofing the broken parts, breaking all the related parts to the new bulletproof parts. At some point you end up with a vehicle that is no longer enjoyable to drive anywhere but on the trail.

Anyone ever hit up Nix Tacos in Roseville. That shit is my jam, crazy unique flavors plus they usually have a killer beer list. It's a bit on the pricey side tho but 100% worth it.

Installing my wheelers progressive aal and icon 2.0's tomorrow... stoked!

I got to try my Bighorns in mud. They did pretty well. My only complaint is that I got about 22,000 miles out of the. I might have gotten 25,000 if the alighnment shop hadn't messed up my truck.
