    Hey Matt, have you ever done an install with the push button switch between the truck bed and the tailgate, so that the lights come on automatically when the tailgate is opened? I am thinking about ordering a kit but want to see if you have done this before and whether or not it would work. The switch would have to be on a contact that was normally closed in order for the lights to be on with the switch in the non-depressed state.

    The switch would also have to be installed directly in steel, rather than the plastic in the bed, although it looks like you have previously done that on the inside of the bed.
