So what will be the 1st thing you intentionally break on the new truck? Because you NEW it would destroy something when you engaged 4Hi doing donuts

Can't wait to get back to a 3rd pedal! Plus dat sexy TuRd interior in @Joe23 truck convinced me to dump my truck, I've had 05 and 15, and it's a shame that there is zero difference between them. I am still going to make fun of TuRd Auto guys lol. MT FTW!

That's actually Toyota parts fault this time! I've done this many times when I did donuts at high speeds and computer was always able to catch when not to shift back into 2HI if there is danger to it. The problem this time was that the front actuator "vacuum line" or others call it "vent line" just blew up from the amount of cold it was in and it's quiet a famous issue listed on TW that anyone might experience, you could have this problem down the road too.
So you might want to jack up the truck and check how well actuator lines are sealed, because if you are out of warranty that will be $200-600 just for a part. Nothing except for a front actuator vent line was damaged.
I know the limits of the truck very well.

Ha! Does the lady comes in a package?

I dunno man, knowing the limits of the truck, and from what I can tell just trying to damage it are different. There is never a reason to do what you are saying, engage or disengage 4Hi like that. I just see it as abuse my rig will never see. 'its just a vent line' might make you sleep better, but really. :anonymous:

It's called wheeling, if you are not ready to take a damage to a truck you might not be ready for off-road, because it could always happened. I buy trucks to drive them not babysit.

PS. It's covered under warranty anyways, so I slept well :)

I wheel, lots. There is a difference in how people do it. I do not try and damage my truck.

Everyone uses their toys different

My skids are relentless fab. Plus my tranny skid is reinforced with some 1/4 c channel. That skid alone is over 50lbs.

    Definitely adds up.

My Pelfreybilt steel skids are 150lbs. Each piece feels like a summa-ma-bitch.
