TX4WD meeting is usually over by 8 or 8:30 and Las Vegas Trail is like 5 miles/10 mins away.

Yeah, it's not somewhere I'd drive to every weekend (although this will be the 3rd trip in 3 weeks) but it's definitely worth the drive. It will probably be even better in the summer when the water level is lower.

Didnt care much for the blazer body on the deadbolt. The wheel base was a little short and the body was huge! May look good on @Tundra2Play 's new axles, would look better with bigger tires too!

So i went out and go a new body.... spent WAY less time on it, and i like it! Just need a driver now! and a dog... I wanted to put Mac, Charlie, Dennis, and Dee from Its Always Sunny in the truck, but all i found were bobble heads....

these are the other tires i have been looking at. But after seeing @Tundra2Play 's tred pattern it looks almost the same.

I probably won't make it tomorrow if y'all go later in the afternoon. There's a Supra Meet at Bone Daddy's in Grapevine from 1-3 and I have family stuff going on after that.

I might have to stop by this, i need a beer or 6.

6 hours in so far, maybe 3 more on the chassis, then theres the electronics and body.

Yeah, let me know if you're gonna stop by on the way to Murrell Park. I'll probably be there by 12:30.

What are you building, the buggy? Not heading out to Indy today?

Okay will do. Team Associated RC8b3.1e 1/8 buggy. Nah no indy, wanna finish this chassis.

The first part of building a kit sucks, 1 million parts, trying to under stand the instructions. The middle part where it looks like a car is the fun part, you get a flow of how to read the instructions and parts bags get smaller and smaller. The final stretch, the next part, you just wanna be done with it all and get it over with, hands sore, trash everywhere.
