Shopping around for a code scanner. Anyone have any experience with either of these ones? Both have great ratings on Amazon. Or just let me know if there is another well-rated unit that all the kids are buying. :D

My .02, i use a cheap OBD reader and dashcommand app. not this exact one, but similar. you can find them on sale for $12-15. they are probable a little limited depending on what you want to do. i use for checking the check eng light.

Can you attach pics when installed? Mine are in horrible condition and I've been looking at Amazon and ebay.

    A thing or two...
It stopped raining long enough to put a couple coats of primer on my bed corner tie downs. I started installing my new-to-me Bestop while I was waiting for the primer to dry enough to paint over. It started raining again when I started putting the canvas on the support bows, but I kept going and finished the install. The side windows were a PITA to get installed.

I have the obd2 Bluetooth adapter and have installed torque, dashcommand and a few others but none are very simple or as efficient as a scangauge or ultragauge. I do know the scangauge can also display codes.

If all you want to do is read codes, torque and obd2 BT adapter works great, just not great at displaying your gauges.

Looks good Jeremy! I like mine it is a little harder to put together than I'd hoped.

    Thanks.

Yeah, the side windows were a bitch to get zipped. What i finally ended up doing was unhooking the fabric at the rear and fastening the front zippers. Then I pulled everything to the rear as much as I could and zipped the rear zippers. Then I attached the rear corners into the side rail and at the tailgate. I've got it locked into the first tension notch right now. I couldn't get both sides into the second notch.
