    Went for a test drive in a 2016 V6

I understand that my truck is supercharged and the truck I drove was not supercharged.

Do they offer a supercharger for the new Tacoma?
I was not to impressed with the power.
Other than that the truck was bitchin!
Comfortable ,smooth ride quite inside. But they wanted 35k for the Tacoma with 30,000 miles on it

They wanted to give me 5k for my truck. I can get way more.

I'd go elsewhere - you can get a brand new offroad 4x4 for that price in most places.... no superchargers (yet) for the 3rd gen Tacomas. Best option to maximize power at the moment is ECU tune (OVTune threads) which does help the power delivery quite a bit.

Magnuson is supposedly working on one. You can always get more private selling over trading in, it's a business after all.

I paid 39 for one with the tech pack and all the options they dealer install. That’s a bad deal

This is where that "Tacomas hold their value" thing comes in to play. Kinda sucks but if anyone here traded in their Taco they'd expect to get close to what they paid for it. If a dealer actually gave them that much, theyd need to sell at a high price to make a profit (or ask too much hoping to make a huge profit).

And yeah, you could probably sell your 1st gen for much more to a private party.

Did you try driving it with ETC PWR on? It makes a huge difference. Sure it won't feel supercharged but it's gonna make it enjoyabled, try it next time you test drive it.

You could easily get a 4x4 off road with half the mileage for 30k plus taxes so look for something near that amount and negotiate. Good luck with your private sale!

That's just crazy. Used 30,000 mile 2wd truck for $35k? Nope.

    I got a shiny new 2017 4wd (manual) for $32,500
Of course that's before I got ass raped in taxes. :(

Yep, my 2016 was under 35K new as well. Great deal getting a 2018 at that price, since I know they've gone up since 2016!

She will loosen up and feel better with miles. Have you thought about taking your truck to Carmax or a larger company like that for a quote? idk if they do older trucks like that. I ran into the same issue when I was trying to dump the "Fix my shiity marriage" 14 Camry. Had dealers only wanting to do 12k on it, which is what I owed left. Took it to Carmax and they would give me 14k. Took that little paper to the toyota dealer and they matched it.

No, the worst deal ever was when i was looking at an SR Manual and they came back with 37k otd. I laughed the entire way home.

They called me back for a good 3 weeks saying they could get it for 28k otd. Ended up with the Sport in manual.
