Yup. I ordered last Thursday around lunch, they swapped the springs to 650s, and they shipped Monday. Debating if it's worth the freezing cold to install tomorrow, or wait until it's slightly warmer Monday. Gotta schedule an alignment too. Lifetime alignment has paid for itself so many times on this truck haha

Def 8's, I have 8's and my upper mount is on the top where the vin is.

On that note, I am DESTROYING straps on the reg, tried 4 ply, 6 ply, doesn't matter. Put new ones on in the fall and they are already about to rip. Everything looks pretty well lined up to me, not sure WTF is going on. I have moved the lower mount 3 times now to try to get a better angle, gone from single shear to double and back to single, still rip em quick. Maybe I am just mobbing around the mall too hard.

Old pic, but mounts are in about the same spot.

Mine have a light tear and fray in them as well at the bottom. I usually flip them and see if I can duplicate it. So far I haven’t. I’m pretty sure it’s the sharp edge of the bump stop brace rubbing when it’s relaxed.

Everyone loves to complain about firestone, but I have nothing bad to say. I always request I have a certain guy do it, and he always does a good job. Best $170 or whatever it cost ever.

I did sacrifice one pair to that issue, but then notched and beat that part back so it is smooth. The recent set(s) have torn where it loops through the "buckle". Trail Gear warrantied one, but dude said he never see them rip, so IDK.

One sided ripping at the end where I wraps and the other was the center where it rubbed. So you’re not alone. Mine are Poly Performance straps.

I’ve never had a problem with mine. I love it. Gotten my monies worth time and time again. I have to say I have aftermarket control arms so they can adjust everything but when I do that, everything’s green

I had to move them closer to the frame in the last iteration, when they were out further the bolt was destroying the bumpstop at full mash when it pancaked out, not sure if they would fit past the bump closer to the wheel, will have to take a look at that, this is getting old. Fast.

The leverage of the arm and shortness is certainly at play, they are stopping A LOT of force during a fast rebound. My rears which are 4 ply look brand new, they don't engage that often, usually just during articulation as when the rear end drops out the drivers side binds from the links first and lessens the blow, and the leverage and forces are WAAAAY less out back.

Even with stock arms I can get everything in the green, but I'm not running a full 3" lift. Really excited to get the new suspension in.

Went to the DIY car wash this morning and there was a hot chick in the bay next to me washing her Jeep with dish soap. Sounds like the start to a bad porno but sadly this story ends here

A little duct tape should fix this, right?

As you found out, be super careful with the routing and installation.

Is that all you need to get it rolling again?
