I think I might practice in the garage, my mom's husband and my neighbor both offered to let me use their welders to practice so I might as well do that, just wanted to go to school for the degree so I can get a better job. I want to get into fabrication so maybe I can steer myself towards that

Of course my phone, which is normally incapable of focusing on anything within 2 feet of it, refuses to do anything but perfectly focus on the dust drops on the window from the storm a few days back...

 

I'm so ready to get a house but I need to get stable employment first.

Honestly it's more just annoying than anything.

 

Any luck on the job front?

My wife just got picked up by Fender. They found her which is a 1st for us.

 

Fun fact of the day: NATO Jerry can lid gaskets are different from the spout gasket so if you order 3 Jerry can gaskets to replace the gaskets on 2 gas cans and the fill spout you will be left with a spare lid gasket and a fill spout that still drips all over your truck when you use it.

Hit or miss really, I had an interview for a sales gig at Abus locks- interview went awesome, really felt like I aced it, followed up and was told that I would have an answer soon as they only needed to screen 2 more people. Then dead silence- no reply to email, no answer to calls, just straight to vmail. I'm gonna follow up with them again as she said there was another position coming up in January, and just try to get anyone on the line and see what's going on, it almost seems like something happened to the interviewer.

Applied for some stuff at Rigid, no luck there. @Istan was a bro and clued me in on some jobs at Freeport but they declined to interview. Aw9d sent my resume to his boss, but said hiring is slow-ish.

That's cool though with Fender, always nice to be sought out!

Well.... forgot the wife had a appointment with her friend for dress shopping after work. I went grabbed some wine and sushi for dinner but she won't be home till 10. So I'm on my own. Thinking about going for a ride or heading out for some wheeling and camping tonight and ditching town. What to do what to do
