@emelianenkov was your FJ at a Subaru dealer in NH a couple days ago? I stopped at one in the way home from the slopes to grab a gas cap that the GF lost. Saw a red FJ that looked like yours. Didn’t get a close look at the bumper because I think I would recognize the work on yours. I also Didn’t want to be a weirdo and walk through the shop to find out who owned it. Couldn’t get on TW with my shitty phone service to chat you.

Thanks a lot Alex! I know the rpm and speed just sit at 0. The temp and gas might be a bit trickier, but definitely going to take pics before I do anything just in case. I think the main question is, do I put them right back where they were? Or do I have to do what Drew thinks you did, which was put them back at the max and then move them back to 0 (I think that's what he was saying he thought you did)?

 

Anyone else need something machined?? Alex is adding to his list haha

If I bore out that cylinder, I don't think we have a hone big enough for it, so you would still need that done

 

No problem man! Basically you put the needles on and twist them backwards to zero. It’s tricky. They will move the needle motor freely at first, but then the motor goes to zero and you keep spinning the needle on the post. By doing this, you’re ensuring your zero is truly zero
