I finally got around to opening the tent up today. First impressions are the following:
    1. Construction adhesive used is quite caustic at first blush...apparently that goes away sonce others haven’t mentioned it.

    2. Pretty tight quarters, but my wife and I like to snuggle.

    3. I can hardly wait to get it on the truck and get my 7 year old out in the wilderness to teach him some survival skills.

    4. So far, I LOVE this RTT!

Yeah ours was quite stinky at first as well. I'm fairly sure they used a polyester resin on the fiberglass which is what we're smelling. We left ours open in the garage for a week and it's gotten better. Not smell free yet but better. Using it this weekend, I'm expecting in the open air we won't be able to smell it.

Mine looks great! I do agree with the smell so ill leave it open for a week. But all around happy i got it just waiting for some hardware for my rear prinsu so i can put it on! I did get a lantern too!

I did notice there are more locking tie downs on the new tent notice there are 4 QD and 4 traditional buckle/backback style attachments. For Securing the tent closed.

Hey guys, just an update that I finally finished up today and heading home, still have about 6hrs ahead of me but that’s nothing in comparison to how many hours were put in since ive left so I have that going for me. It was a pleasure meeting everyone that I did and the hospitality along the way.

For those interested in the next buy I will update sometime after I get home and settled

    For now, Happy camping!

Wahoo!!! 3.5 hours to go now!

Thank YOU Chandler for kicking some major ass and your coordination and driving skills to pull this all together. You’ve done us all a tremendous favor and saved us LOTS of lettuce in the process.

Since Chandler is driving and shouldn't be texting or typing, what mounting hardware have you all found (if any) for these babies?

I didn’t find any w/the packaging so figure i’ve got to figure it out. So....what have you good peeps w/the Prinsu crossbars come up with?

    Thanks!

I just wanted to personally thank Chandler for the hard work hes put into this.

He came by my house yesterday and it was great talking with him and the ordeal he's gone through to help all of us out.

I hope that we can continue to do things like this in the future, this forum has been such a help for all of us getting our rigs where they need to be!

If anyones interested, my hardshell tent is up for sale. It is white with the green fabric. I got the first main batch from @ChandlerDOOM a couple months ago. Used less then a handful of times. It does have blemishes on the outside from mounting it on the Prinsu. If interested, PM me since i dont want to clutter his thread. or message me on Instagram @ kalvin.kwong.

@ChandlerDOOM hope you dont mind me posting this here, if so, I can edit/delete. Thanks!

I know, it makes me sad to look at it. I am hoping the first week of Feb I can clean it up and get powder to match the rest.
