Not dissing the product, but shouldn’t they find another manufacturer? I’m definitely not willing to play the click and hope you get it game.

I actually like the fact these wheels aren't in super mega mass production. Totally no disrespect either way brother.
    Just do it :boink: :D

I bought tires today in anticipation for some SCS wheels. I may just buy stealth 6s though because they’re in stock lol

I have to agree. While it may seem unfair or be a pain, the reward is worth it all. I'm a collector at heart and the more unique it is, the more I want it.

There are lookalikes with no wait. There's a reason too.

Plus you're getting the @SCSPerformance reputation behind them. You think Manny, Moe & Jack care like Vin or Vuth?

meh. artificial scarcity, that's a nintendo move. I might've appreciated that when I was 16 riding around in a lowered honda.

I get it. You should always do what makes you feel better. No one will bend your arm here or fault you for that. Well, I certainly won't. We will just try to impart our own experiences and our joy.

And funny, I'm almost too old to know what Nintendo is. I don't think it's artificial though. I think it's a smaller than average company that are great at what they do. They just happen to have a product who's demand is greater than the supply.

Hey Rob, could you post a pic of your truck from the side view? I remember you had a shot of it a while back but didn't want to dig through all of your posts to find it. Someone has a set of 5 gold scs ray 10s and I'm thinking of pulling the trigger.

Sure, my pleasure but keep in mind, mine are Brushed Copper and not Gold. The Gold Ray 10s are a little more yellow. Someone posted recently with a set so look at mine but do yourself a favor and find that post so you are 100% sure.

Gold, Copper and Bronze will all work with the Inferno in my opinion.

Sorry that's what I meant. Brushed copper. I don't like the dark bronze they have on the F5's...it's too brown to go with the inferno. Still on the fence.

Jump man jump! LOL I hear ya though. You want it to be a one and done deal. I like these wheels so much I'm gonna drive a 6 lug till I die.

I know the Matt Bronze have brown tint to them but that's just in darker light. Look at pics when they are clean and in the sun. Then the lighter metallic bronze lights up. Like the pic @ChadsPride shared a couple posts back. And not to sound all Martha Stewart but if you think about fall colors and the leaves, bronze and brown are right in there with orange aka Inferno. Especially with the black tires and black bead lock ring.

Naturally though the choice is yours. Black was the hot color a couple years ago and I love black. Black is an obvious choice on Inferno. I have a friend in the industry and he told me that bronze became the new black. Bronze is hot. The copper is just brighter. The gold is the brightest. They are all special and each one looks as good as the other. I wish I could afford two run two sets. It would be copper and Bronze. I'd run the copper Ray 10s on a less aggressive Nitto Terra Grappler and the bronze F5s on the more agressive Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

Just my .02 worth on the subject.

Well, in the euro/japanese scene bronze and gunmetal have been played out for a long time. It's only recently I'm seeing these jdm style wheels like volks on tacomas. I saw someone running some dark bronze on an inferno and it just didn't look right. Looked more like brown that bronze :/ 21246167_10209875935190852_5025638008964_88330461e5e185c201602b006fd66e952b11859e.jpg

    But this looked really good.

Yea, I feel ya. I have seen some pics and they look root beer colored. I dig it though. I dig the Copper a little bit more however.

    20170923_132554.jpg

But I would so rock the Bronze too.

Exactly!!! Most people don't seem to appreciate small batch, quality made products that aren't every where. Made it hard for all us to get our hands on but when you do, it's that much better!! I can count 20-30 sets of fuel wheels on a daily, why would anyone want that...
