Fail. Shoulda brought it to 4WP.

Broken metal is easy to find - it usually looks shiny and broken :)

But yeah didn't even fix my dad's broken tailgate handle on his Tundra last week in the Northeast since it was barely getting over 10* for most of the trip. It was a good reminder of why l live where it will be 80 tomorrow.

Have you talked to Neal at Griffin fab? If you are going to bring your truck up this way there are a few other options also like Lenger Racing and Halo Supercars. All three shop are buddies of mine and good people. Seems like a waste to haul your truck up here for something any decent shop can fix though unless you are talking about major changes.

There are no decent shops here
The death of the coal industry saw to that
The money the coal miners spent on trucks vanished when they lost their jobs
So the fabricators and mechanics left too.

All that's left is valvoline hacks
    And tire change shops.

I don't actually intend on going to Michigan for repair/alterations because after they told me 700$ to weld spindles with the spindles and gussets provided I lost interest all together

But griffin does have some awesome trucks nonetheless

He has a full house right now so that probably affects the price right now. Talk to Brent at Halo supercars about fab work up this way also. They are busy but can probably sneak in some easy fab projects in. Just not before a few of my projects are done.

If Kibbe looked at it you should be fine. I was texting him as I set my DMZ kit up and he gave me some pointers on how /to align everything. Zero issues so far and pulling 17" of travel IIRC. Was supposed to measure it again for someone a while back but never did. Is your carrier bearing fine? Also, do you have a e-locker or lsd of any sort? ABS lights or anything?

Does anyone know the thread pitch for the uca long bolt?? Keeps coming loose so I’d like a lock nut or I will just double nut it.

It's a TRD sport so no locker.
There isn't any warning lights going off aside from the normal airbag light from my seat. No error codes.
Visual inspection of everything under the truck looks fine

I dont remember but, do you have calipers? Or even metric Allen wrenches?? Either one could measure it for you.

If no one chimes in, I'll grab it after I have my coffee.

    Kinda stock
I’m not a 6 lug but my suspension was off last week. It was all 1.5 pitch for my m12 and m14 bolts.

I’d goop it with blue thread locker, if not do a small dab of red instead.

Total chaos uca gurus... i lubed and greased my ucas as directed on their 14 min install video on youtube. I hear alot of noise coming from the uca as the washers pivot on the bushings. Would it help to maybe grease the contacting part to keep the noise down? It’s annoying

I did not. I wondered that but in their video they had it torqued down and basically their last step was greasing and then installing the wheels

Loosen the bolt and grease it then tighten bolt.

With the bolt right the grease has no where to go, or so I’ve been told lol

    What kind of grease?

I use black moly lithium based grease. I have never once has squeaky bushings anywhere.

All poly bushings need to use lithium based grease or it will eat the poly away.

I used the clear superlube that they recommend. I put a thin coat on everything before assembly, greased with the nut loose after assembly and then torqued to spec and them things have sung since day one.
