Productivity is high today, this bodes poorly for my wallet

 

I added a Vibrant ultra quiet resonator just upstream of my 18” magnaflow, took all the rasp and drone out of it. Not sure how different it would be downstream of the muffler.

 

What, you’re actually going to paint that thing? The rust patina was coming along nicely...

 

Surprisingly really wasn't rusting too much, I sprayed the clear coat on really thick. But yeah gonna shoot it with some paint, finally drill the winch plate correctly, install the winch, install compressors. Might do motor mounts, not sure yet on that, might get too tired

 

I agree with Madjik, when my idler pulley bearing tried to seize miles from civilization and without a backup, it was definitely loud and annoying. But the worst for me was when a rear axle bearing started to fail 300 miles from home. Getting louder and louder. Sorta like the theme from "Jaws".

 

Well your motivation level is far higher than mine, I'm just trying to work up the effort to adjust my coilovers (really just the passenger one).

 

That's a justifiably terrible job, the things always require a huge cheater. Also coilovers thought you were on OME???

What exactly will a resonator do? If I ever "upgrade" my exhaust I'm pretty set on a 22" with the offset(?) inlet/outlet to keep it quiet.

 

Something like that. I was steering the truck off of the flat bed and I told the tow truck driver I was afraid of hitting it.

They had tons of cars there my truck barely fit into the yard.

 

I had them add a 24" long hose to the reservoirs, I think standard length is 18" or so. My tires would rub on them really bad if they were mounted where most people have them with the standard length hoses. I didn't spring for the adjusters, the standard valving is pretty spot-on but I can always mess with shim stacks later on if I think they need fine tuning.

 

Has to be my flexplate grinding on everything, the RPM's jumping balls to the wall, and my transmission slowly losing gears one by one until I didn't have anymore gears to grind on.

That and the terrible noise the starter made when I tried to start the truck again to limp it onto a tow truck.

 

say what? You can't run a 10'' shock without a different coil bucket mount.

I mean i realize you are eyeing the xlt kit. but you can't get a 10'' coilover to hold you over until you get it. If that makes sense.

MCM's front kit comes with some nice resi mounts. Kinda doubt they would work with 35s but should be fine for your tires I would think.

 

Haha never planned to do that, it's all gonna come in the same box at the same time. I'll run the toasted icons until then.

hello where can I buy cover for these seats, I have searched but I only find for bucket seat not for this model
