    These speakers are a direct plug and play set for third gen Tacomas. There are a couple of different conversations about them on here. They sound SO much better over stock.

    I ended up trading in my third gen after having these installed for about 3 weeks. They are in perfect condition. I bought a second gen and these won’t work for it.

    too late now, but for future info:

    if your 3rd gen came with jbl sound system from factory, these would not be plug&play replacement

    Not sure about that. My capabilities are limited to plug & play, and I have non-jbl, so I never even researched that. Search for jbl subaru and I’m sure you’ll find that someone has tried.
