I finally got the seat protector put in the truck for the wife. I told her she didn't need to remind me every six months. Just had to take the center belt loose to get it through the opening. Don't have a torque wrench at home, so I just went with purt-dang.

 

What’s a torque wrench?

 

Just went out and replaced a burnt headlight bulb in the wife's truck, mixed 10 gallons of fresh gas with the bad 4 or 5 gallons of bad gas plus a 1/2 can of Seafoam in my son's truck, drained the carb and fuel line and it fired right up and idled perfect. I'll top off the tank tonight when the gas station isn't as busy. Tired. Need a nap.

 

Keep on doing that shit.
I just got 2.5 hours of labor yesterday to repair another taco for the same thing.
Bad gas is bag gas. Throw it in a lawn mower.

 

It's a 64 C10 with a no smog 350...it'll run on almost anything. Had my son filled the tank before he parked it, it wouldn't have been an issue. Of course when he left 2 years ago I filled it up and added Stabil, but he parked it after his leave last December (a year ago) with 1/4 tank and no Stabil.

I rotate my fuel stock every 30 to 45 days with stable...

 

I don't always do it. But I'm figuring with the Seafoam, 7 or 8 more gallons of fresh gas and run it this coming week to work and back then top it again. I quess he's shipping it to Texas next month so he can have it there with him.

 

Just came in from the garage. ARB intensity knock offs are wired. They are plenty bright to turn on the blues and reds... During the day, they're much, much brighter than the high beams. CB radio is in and functional. I bought an extra center console to cut the front part out so the radio could slide in but the SRS ECU is right there. I didn't think it was a good idea to have a transmitter basically on it. So it's attached to the back of the donor center console behind the two back seat cup holders. The 70s fake wood grain finish adds a nice touch to the truck.

Tried to start the 2000 furd turus again. No luck sprayed a starter into the throttle body. Then I noticed the theft light flashing. Checked the fob and...no battery.

So I will try again another day and tow it to a shop if it doesn't work. I'm no Mike
