Hey guys. Was wondering if you guys have any tips or products to help haul stuff home from the grocery store or Costco inside the cab or the bed without it shifting all over.

    Thanks.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Bed extender folded in with the tailgate up. Floorboards and back seat when I do it but I keep it to a minimum if I am in the truck.

An oem rubber bed mat is really helpful.

@gunny1005 had them for $85.40shipped last time I checked.

I added 4 of these rings at the top of the bed storage boxes, and it really helps. I bungee a large storage bin on one side to hold small items that don't belong inside the cab.

    Fwiw...

Make sure at the Costco checkout you tell them you want your items in boxes. After I have paid I will push my cart out of the way and grab other empty boxes and repack my items in appropriate size boxes to go in my truck. If I spend under $200 dollars (I know that is hard to do) it generally fits in the back seat area.

I have a load lock between the tailgate and wheel well, put my stuff in the bed, close the tailgate and go home. I have the soft toneau covering the bed so nothing blows around.

Exactly what I have, with the addition of a generic bed mat ($20) which I trimmed to fit.

I use two large plastic storage bins that I bought at Lowe’s and a cargo bar to hold them in place right in front of the tailgate. I just drop the tailgate, load everything into the bins, and close the tailgate. Nothing moves, and I can carry everything into my house in two trips.

Yes the bed mat is a must in these trucks. I take for granted that its even there so I forget about some not having it.

There is a thread on here for Camelback Toyota (NV). A guy that goes by "gunny" monitors the thread. PM him and tell him you'd like a bed mat, specify bed length, and he will set you up.

Could you explain your mod so that it's compatible with the Tonneau?

I shortened the ends of the divider arms by a couple of inches each and mounted the sliders on the bedrail upside down so the knobs are on the bottom of the arms, not the top.IMG_2532.jpgIMG_2530.jpg

Why is it necessary to shorten the arms? I've not seen one in person so I can't visualize.

Ah. I gotcha. Because the cover rails forced out the accessory rails an inch or so on each side. I'm with you now (assuming that's an Access cover).

With the access tonneau cover, the bed-rails are mounted about an inch to an inch and a half closer together inboard of the mounts for the tonneau cover rails with the hook and loop material to keep the cover sealed, so the arms need to be shortened an equal amount so the divider will fit between them.
