    Lucy is parked in the yard all by herself. New girl gets the driveway with big girl. She’s legal now. Emissions and registration/tag are done, came in just under $100. Tomorrow is a new tint job, not so cheap. I’m about to run errands in her and test her out. I haven’t driven her yet.

    Third party office. Got in and walked out with new tag within 5 minutes, ordering a custom plate tonight or tomorrow. Might pay a little extra with the third party but they’re open on Saturdays and the regular DMV is not. I think it was 15 minutes or less between emissions testing and walking out with a tag. Luckily they were next door to each other.

    It was amazing. My DMV experience here with registering my truck was meh. Felt like a cattle line and people kept yelling at me to go from station to station. Only took an hour but I will use third party from now on.

    NC is sooooo much worse than SC. I've lived in NC most of my life and was shocked at how easy the DMV in SC is.

    Long story short, ncdmv wouldnt renew my registration because I lapsed on insurance... The lapse date was 4 months before I bought the car:crazy:
    It took 6 months and 4 trips to the ncdmvhq to convince them how impossible the situation was:boom:
