@customcargrills I've got some mesh and letters on the way and can't wait to install them! Which faster drying adhesives do you recommend? Thanks a lot, you guys do some great work! Will post some pics when it's done.

 

I really like using the Goop, it's really the best solution, but of course it's slow to dry.

When we need a fast drying adhesive, we typically use a 2 part body panel adhesive. I like using Pliogrip (made by Valvoline), but it's pricey.

 

I was a little concerned about the slow drying goop as well, but it worked out great.

If you are using your existing bezel and are worried about needing your truck while it’s drying, you can put the grille surround and insert back on your truck after you remove the bezel. Doesn’t even look that weird lol, and you can take your time gooping the mesh in.

 

Yup, the Goop is a surprisingly good product.

What we often do is work on the grills in the late afternoon and let them set over night and in the morning they're usually good to go.

That specific one sold a little while back.

A grill with a blue bezel + blue outlined sharp letters retails out for $550 shipped.

Finally got my mesh installed. I went with the GT Perf in flat black and an OEM emblem. I wrapped my smoked chrome bezel on deep black 3M vinyl. I decided to set my emblem up higher on the mesh rather than centered, similar to he OEM TRD Pro grille has it.
