thanks! I don't plan on doing a whole lot. I pay it off in less then a year and its only at 75k so hoping it'll hold its value since they discontinued the RC. Its only 2wd so i just plan on plenty of recovery gear, sliders, rear hitch (for recovery point, if needed), maybe a hidden front winch, maybe a shell or soft topper for extra storage and new seats. I hate the seats in these. oh and the intermittent wiper switch, didn't need it while I was in San Diego but Colorado actually gets weather LOL

It bothers me that to this day there are still vehicles like the Tacoma that don't have intermittent wipers and cruise control in their base model. Manual locks and windows don't bother me, but cruise and wipers are just as valuable as high beams...

How much is Toyota really saving?

Agreed! first thing i did was add cruise control when i bought the truck. 9 cup holders but no cruise or intermittent wipers LOL!

I've got the bucket seats as well. I just feel they have no support, my back always hurts after long drives. My mom has a '16 TRD OR and her seats are way more comfortable.

Be glad you have the buckets. I have the bench seat. It sits at a 90 degree angle . The back is straight up. Another CKY member here showed me how to make the back recline a little. It involved a disk grinder and I was scared to take too much off so it’s a little better now. It sits at about 100-105 degrees. There is also a way to make it adjustable. There used to be a thread here on how to do it, but I can’t find it. I would buy factory buckets in a heartbeat if you could get the airbags to work.

I used regular square file and it worked great to file them down.

My neighbor sold his stock '05 regular cab 4x4 for $12k. Paint was a little whack, but I think he made out on it.

I need to take a little more off mine. My seat is still a little more straight up than yours.

Where the seat 'stop' rests is normally flat. I didn't take a before pic but just take a regular file, verify where the seat stop rests, and file a groove like in the picture. Sorry it's hard to describe without more pictures.20180112_202456.jpg

The bench seat was in my truck for only a few months after I bought it lol. Literally the most uncomfortable seat I've ever sat in.

Who has a subwoofer in their RC? If not, which one would you like?
