    A thing or two...
So... I was looking through the passenger wheel well at the oil filter/side of the engine today while the truck was on the lift having the cab mounts chopped and frame horns reinforced. I noticed a couple of plugs threaded into the oil filter adapter, that I've seen before in part drawings, and I was wondering if one of them would be a good source to use for the turbo oil supply and/or return. There's also a plug in the side of the block near the block coolant drain, and I was wondering if it could be used for the coolant supply or return.

Here's the part drawing to give you an idea of what the parts look like. The plugs in the oil filter adapter are labelled "15609D", and the plug in the block is on the bottom right, labelled "Refer to Fig 11-05 (PNC 11432A)".
    151708.jpg

This is the part diagram with the block plug called out. It's not the best picture since it's on the opposite side of the block than what's shown.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Yes you can use the oil port for feed as well as oil pressure gauge.

Not sure about the coolant but another easy feed is the heater. Run the heater outlet to your turbo and the turbo outlet to your block.

Thanks. There are two ports on the filter adapter, so would the safe bet be oil feed from the center (post filter) and pressure pre-filter?

Cool seeing the 2tr oil pan section. Mine is different. I don’t use part 12101. My oil pan goes to the block directly. Cool seeing the difference.

Should be running by tomorrow afternoon! Just have a few things to button up like extending the MAF sensor wiring, relocating the SAIS, clamping on the BOV, running the coolant lines, and reinstalling the front diff... Today was a good day! Once the truck is running good, I'll take the IC piping and get the sections welded... But just itching to get that first startup out of the way!

He's alive! Paco the Red Taco is officially boosted, guys! Little minor things to clean up, but I put about 25mi on it so far without leaks or a CEL. So overly excited to have a boosted vehicle back in my life! This thread was my lifesaver, and all of you guys are fucking awesome for pushing me to go through with it. Lots of tuning ahead with the AEM, but holy hell it's great!
Sorry for the Snapchat video, but it's all I had time for tonight.

Mine has been running good lately. The only "issue" is when I go WOT on the freeway and AFR's drop to rich-land (10's) it bogs a bit and loses a little power. Needs to have some fuel pulled out for more hp, but for my use I'm just like, Whatevs, fuck it.

Awesome! Nothing like driving your vehicle boosted for the first time.

Stock ecu for the moment, yeah. Still have some quirks to work out with the FIC-6. Plus I needed to come up with a solution for the SAIS, so I didn't want to get all involved if it wasn't gonna work out anyway. I ended up relocating the pump

Stock everything lol. Boost will need to be dialed down to about 6psi, as right now it seems anything higher the truck goes lean - probably maxing out the MAF is my guess, I'll have to look at the logs
