    Thanks.

The world these days is SO fixated on trying to live forever. They will find something wrong and unhealthy for you in EVERY single thing you do! What happenend on enjoying the life given to us and just LIVE.
People need to stop being so fixated on living their stressfull lives for eternity. Have a drink! Get drunk. Get high :rasta: Eat a big juicy steak.

I'm on this earth & I plan to enjoy it while i'm here. The Key is moderation!
Some will say, 'you live your life as you want to eating and doing unhealthy things'. I sure as hell will! Instead of restricting myself on everything in life that is bad for you (Just about everything) i'll just moderate myself.:D

When the time comes and the big man says it's time for me to leave this world, whether it be young or old, i'll leave knowing I LIVED & enjoyed my life while I had it.

Problem is, drug cartels don't want it to be legal, just like they didn't want booze to be legal back in the 20's-30's. They can make so much more money from it by keeping it illegal.

^The government makes way more money off of tickets and drug awareness classes and all the other bull shit that comes along with it being illegal than they would if it were legal, even if they did tax it.

idk about that, there are a lot of people that smoke weed, if they started taxing it, I think they would make more off of it then they would cigarettes. By the way drug awareness costs them money doesnt make them money.

True. But do you honestly think that all the people that smoke will continue to if it's legal? Think of it like alcohol. Once it's legal, a lot of people dont have the desire to do it anymore. Literally, last night a friend of mine texted me with, "You wanna go drink in the streets?" When I asked why he said, "drinking illegally is way more fun." I think there would be an abrupt spike in usage once it is legalized, then the numbers would slowly decrease. Some day, all the kids that are smoking pot underage wont understand why it was ever illegal (like a lot of us feel about alcohol). Actually, I can understand why alcohol was illegal and is now controlled. But weed seems stupid. If you kill somebody when youre high, there is something wrong with you. Dont blame the weed.

you could be true, I can see younger kids doing it cause its illegal, but I will still smoke it everyday whether its illegal or not, infact I would probably smoke more if it was legal cause I wouldnt have to worry about getting busted and hiding it all the time.

I myself would choose drinking at home with friends over drinking in the streets, idk seems like something I did when I was 14-15 years old.

I am not one of those kids. I smoke it because i like it and it makes me happy. Where I live, the kids that smoke to be cool and brag about shit that doesn't even makes sense and a dime a dozen. Legal or not, i would be smoking too. I used be on probation and couldn't smoke then. During that time I spend way too much money on this "spice" stuff thats legal but get you high like weed. NOT salvia. Ive tried it recently and it sucks, but when you can't smoke, and you're like me, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Hahaha yeah he's a funny kid. When I read it, I was pretty thrown off too.

Who saw the weed dispensary South Park? FUCKING HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!

They should legalize it. It's no worse than alcohol and many would argue it's safer than cigarettes. And to someone else's point, trafficking would cease. The one thing that will eventually lead to legalization is taxes. The dopes that run .gov know it will be a cash cow.

Trafficking would not cease. It would A) Continue as is because people would be able to get traffic weed cheaper on the black market instead of paying the taxes on legal weed or B) The effort put into traffic pot would become effort put into trafficking heroin or cocaine.

"Bad" people will always do "bad" things. Even if weed isn't some devil drug it's still illegal right now...and the folks who smuggle it aren't doing so in order to provide a service or show the gov't how wrong they are...They are doing to it turn a buck.

Since you have no facts to back your claim, let's look at similar products.

    A) Why aren't alcohol and booze trafficked in similar fashion since the same logic should apply to them? Or, just about anything we consume?

    B) The effort from DEA and other law enforcement agencies could be concentrated into heroin and cocaine, instead of wasted on marijuana.

No- But considering there was a legal and established market for them before they were prohibited and the folks who were smuggling it INTERNALLY to the country were mostly folks who were making it legally before hand assisted by organized crime and quasi-corrupt gov't officials.

Where as drug smuggling (my 6 year professional specialty) happens to come from mostly OUTSIDE the country. And since there was no established legal market before hand...You are trying to compare apples to oranges for one. And two- Since the infrastructure is already in place- People will still try to take advantage of it.

And yes...They would be concentrated on Heroin and Cocaine- in quantities far greater than coming into the States today.
A backpack full of pure or nearly pure Heroin has a 60Mil or so street value...A 2000lbs load of really good pot is worth about 12Mil. And those are "reasonable" sized loads...and in general...More get thru than get stopped.

    I've lost track

X2, its all a big load of bullshit. Not that big of a deal and I don't know why people get so crazy about keeping it illegal. Stop wasting your time and mind your own business. It doesn't hurt anyone so just because you don't personally like it doesn't give you the right to stop others from enjoying it.
