So I had my 2 year final free oil change and fluid top-off a couple of weeks ago. Only driven 100 miles since then. Thought I would check everything under the hood today. I was SHOCKED (not really-just being dramatic) that both my brake fluid and antifreeze need topping off. I was wondering what brand antifreeze people are buying for these trucks. Hate to pay the dealer 25% more for the same thing that Prestone or Peak sells. I can only imagine they spent most of the maintenance time checking the transmission fluid and differential (I don't believe that either but they did torque the differential cover as a recall item).

Good info to know. I thought I read that somewhere when I was shopping for one. That will help others make an informed decision.

Yes I read the Prestone claim too. Just hate to mix coolants if there is any chemical difference. I figure someone here has looked into this. Not at the low mark yet but I do need to pick some up this week. I should just pull back into the dealer and make them do it but I just have no desire to go there unless it is for a warranty or recall issue.

So the handheld brush at the carwash put tiny scratches all over my truck that are so obvious when the sun hits it. Does anyone know how to get those out or if they will come out? I was hoping like a electric buffer with wax might work.....

Got my TRD Pro skid plate mounted today! I had ordered black vinyl inserts for the letters, but while waiting for them I decided to paint the red to match my trd center caps. I figured that I could just cover the red with the black vinyl if I don't like it.

if its similar to the paint swirls that you will get from a drive thru carwash, you can buff those out no problem, my detail guy offers a service that takes out those and my nasty pinstripes out that doesn't cost too much! He even threw it in for free when i got my first full detail!

Lift or no lift? I'd go lift with 20x14 zero offset with 4" wheel spacers. Should be good to go...o_O...:D

I guess a lot of people like the large wheel with low profile tire. A lot of custom big 4x4s are doing this too. Not my style and not sure I understand but as long as they like it...

Not sure what is more confusing. The silly rear mud flaps or the lack of front ones. Either way I am sure his cousin-wife loves it.

I'm a little jealous of you guys with the clean Tacos showing them off in the sun. I wanted to clean mine late week but the weather never cleared. Now it's 15 degrees and mine is covered in salt.
