Yeah unfortunately. Screwed myself this weekend when I took my knee out. Been trying to save for a good set of knee braces, but spending $600+ on them isn't easy.

 

Not to bad, issue we had was figuring out where to add the leaf in ended uo having to do one twice.

Now the kicker is my drivers side front bushing was missing the nut and washer bolt was in but about 1/2” out lucky i was adding the leaf would have never known! Was able to get some new hardware in boulder.

Also need to get new bump stops now that i switched to the flip-kit on the ubolts.

 

True. But also depends on how your gonna ride. For what he’s wanting to do it wound be fine in less gear for now.
What Asher’s riding he wound want most of that gear l.

Heck I used to ride all the time in tennis shoes and shorts. But I knew the trails like the back of my hand.

 

@303tacoma have your squeaks gone away since you replaced the front bushings on your Dakars?

 

True that. I tried shorts once, really weirded me out.
The 'barest' I'll go is an armored hoodie and jeans.

Brer the pug is doing great. He hits the pad more than he misses, he is doing well with commands and socializing in public and manages really well on a leash around the house and at places like home depot.

 

I once rode a motorcycle from one parking lot to another without a helmet... No thanks.

And yeah I have no interest in riding the trials shit that @kashtyaatsi is riding.

Myself and I’m sure he wound rather enjoy the trail even a little challenge vs an all out wresteling match with the bike and rocks

 

Sidi are good boots for sure but I have wide feet and they just don't fit me as well as the Gaerne.
I could wear my Gaerne all day long on race day (10 hrs or so) walking all around the pits and everything and they never hurt my feet a bit. Something I've never been able to say about any other mx boots.

 

Oh yeah, well I’ve ridden a 50cc once lol. It was fun but I’m sure it’s a whole different animal than anything 250cc or above.

 

The new sidi crossfire's are super tight so probably wouldn't feel too good on a wide foot. The old ones seems better, but I definitely wouldn't consider my foot wide.

There's just something fun about being miserable

 

So fare so good will know more once i mount it and first trip

 

I’d do it for sure if there was a beater bike available.
