Hey guys, I'm looking to get my hands on a set of TRD Pro Sema matte black rims. I just love the way they look and I am not looking to get off road tires nor am I lifting the truck and messing with the suspension. I just wish to switch out my TRD Sport rims with the TRD Sema rims, but I'm wondering if the TRD Pro rims can accommodate my stock 265/65/R17 tires. I'm still a newbie at this stuff so please bear with me and thanks!

Ive seen many people run their stock sport tires on pro wheels until they could afford bigger/better tires

Sweet! And they didn't complain of any tire rub did they?

I have stock sized Michelins on my TRD Pro wheels. P265/65/R17 same as you.

I cant confirm because i dont have either but you shouldn’t be rubbing with that tire size and wheel unless your alignment is way off

20171124_135606.jpg I've got them on mine. I can't justify buying new tires yet. So far I have 20,000 miles on my truck.

In the 2nd picture you include in your OP, you can see on the sidewall of the tire mounted on the TRD SEMA wheel shows P265/70R17... if these are the same wheels you're going with, I think you're safe... Only problem I could see is if you order a "clone" of the ORM TRD SEMA wheel and get it in a different wheel size or width inadvertently.

Good luck. Love that wheel on the QS color.

Here is another perspective. You could always sell stock tires alone for about $400 if still pretty new and throw on some larger Falken Wildpeak's for around $650 onto the SEMA wheels. A few of my neighbors and I have done this and happy with the minimal loss. Just an idea.

These wheels are 7" wide compared to 7.5" on the originals. I am told backspacing is less which should allow for a wider tire. On-line dealer recommends 265/70/17's which is what I will do when original tires wear out.

Yes the stock tire size will work without any issues, despite the width and offset differences. The SEMA wheels are offset 4 and the stock sports are 13 I believe. I run the stock size on mine, but switched to K02's instead of the junk Firestones that the sport comes with

That's a beautiful truck set up. I'll be making the move soon, thanks for the motivation :)
Your idea doesn't seem bad at all, but I'm not looking to switch my tires yet nor am I trying to get any off road tires any time soon. Thank you for the clever suggestion though man!

I just picked up a set of the TRD SEMA wheels for my 2017 TRD Sport and like you are not looking to lift or change the suspension and want to know if I go with Falken, KO2 or any other 265/65/17 tire, will there be any rubbing or other issues? The reason I want to stay away from the 265/70/17 tires is that I don’t want to have to do any cutting or have rubbing as I have read occurs.

265/65R17 K02's fit the Sport without any issues, even with the different offset and width on the SEMA rims. The K02 only comes in load range E for that size and they are 9 lbs heavier than your stock tires, so between that and the tread design, you will probably see a small fuel economy hit. You will also need to run higher tire pressures, the stock 32psi won't cut it

I’ve got 265/70/17 on fn wheels f(x) pro wheels. Same specs as the sema wheels but 8" wide instead of 7". No rubbing or cutting. And they are c range.

Anybody running the Falken’s 265/70/17 on a 2017 TRD Sport and if so how are they performing (Road noise, rubbing, etc).

    Thanks in advance.

Those sizes have no problems on a stock sport wheel or a sema pro wheel.
