WTB thule crossbars, older square style in 54+", ideally 65" - mine were trashed by a downed power pole/line fleeing tubbs fire. Maybe someone has some in their garage for sale?

No doubt that they are fast I just don’t think they make the best decisions on the road.

You’ll get the hang of it eventually. I’d leave it.

Remember to install them backwards or they won’t work with the new setup.

We should go some Saturday afternoon. I live pretty close by and probably seem like a certifiable alcoholic by the number of times I go there. Couple beers and something to eat and I'm good.

I know, tell me about it. Havent driven since the mendo run. Tomorrow I should be able to finish snorkel and do power steering pump. Then I got a sticky caliper. New one comes Monday. Picked up a brand new 35" spare today at Americas Tire in santa clara. I had to convince them to sell it to me because it doesnt fit their tacoma formula. Fuck I still gotta do the pinch weld too. Time is hard to come by these days . Wanna wheel REALLY bad

If it was 4x4, then you should. Im ok with you letting that one go...

I had an 89 dodge cargo van 4x4 conversion with a D60 front end. Named it Chester. Dreams of Baja. Loved that van but I sold it to finance a 2-week Hawaii surf trip. Best two weeks of my life, even though I slept on a tile floor in my friends house every night .

So many stories... I'll fill you in by the campfire one night

Tear in the boot between the air filter/MAF and the intake.

If it has a rubber boot.

Wives car had something similar and I pulled the boot off and it had a bunch of cracks allowing air in post MAF and pre intake. She’d throw a lean bank code periodically and it’d idle weird. She has a turbo though which might make a difference.

Shot in the dark. Good luck!

    Edit snug hose clamps too.

What was the original complaint again?

Edit: Check all electrical connections. Maybe check the fuel pressure. If you have a thermal imager or IR temp gauge, check the header pipe temp and see if you can isolate a particular cylinder that's having the issue-also, what did the plugs look like when you pulled them?

No lean bank one. All looks great. With all intake. I had it stripped to just head and block twice in three days to replace all vacuum lines and check resistance in all the wiring. All is great. So far.
