Thanks, we have the spare chassis that the previous owner cut, we are thinking of turning into a sand rail, I have my old l43 4 speed trans and Dennis has his carb 22r from his 1uz swapped 83, Screenshot_20180113-205552.jpg

plus all the old stuff we have like drive shaft to the whole nine yards from the 2wd. Lots of hard work that's for sure.

mine will be paid off in 2 years lol. getting a decent settlement check from a car accident i was in as a kid, using that money to pay off whatever is left on the truck and then on a down payment on a house.. still trying to decide where we should move. we are leaning towards moving back to washington

fucking awesome thing to walk out to your truck and see this -_- open to suggestions on cheaper dashcams and best ways to secure new lights. when I get more they are going to be welded to the brackets

That sucks @duncnasty such a shitty feeling and angry too. @m00seNUckLEz caught some low life’s stealing on camera and caught up to them. His camera was a ring unit, not sure the specifics though. Looked clear though.

Yeah I use tamper proof torx on only the inside facing bolts on the side of the pod. On the bolt that attaches it to the ditch light bracket, Red loctite. Plus I put mine in the garage now. Only way to sleep comfortable at night. Got tired of people attempting to and successfully stealing from it.

yeah planning on doing the same (tamper proof torx and loctite) trying to think up kinda sorta box that i can put around the mount/hardware portion of the pod when i get one ones. might even just tack weld a few pieces of metal into a box shape around the hardware once it is mounted and angled the way i want. that way its more difficult for them to figure out how it comes off, and easy enough for me to pop off if need be

I would just tack weld the nut to the bolt on both mounting points and call it done.

You know what's bullshit @adanfon ? I didn't know this, but because my wife's car was most likely left unlocked, it was only a misdemeanor. If the guy would've busted the window or I had a video of him forcing his way in, then it would've been a felony. Next time I'm putting on my ski mask and cracking the guy in the kneecap with a baseball bat.

That's why I have a Viper alarm with all the sensors. Stand too close to the truck for more than a few seconds and it detects people, will start chirping. I have the sensitivity turned way up. Best money I've spent living in Fresno.

Yeah I have been thinking of a new alarm on top of the dash cam -_- my girl agrees that it's worth the money for the dash cam at the very least. a buddy of mine is working on getting me a dash cam that his police department uses. audio/video inside and outside vehicle. I just want to make sure I wire it up/get one that always runs. thinking of trying to borrow a game camera from a buddy and mount it up in the corner of the covered parking above my spot. at least until I get the dashcam

Best security, don't put bar/pod on :D so thieves won't take a second look at it.

Second option security, park your truck in the garage

    Most problem will be solve
