Thought I’d do a little introduction and post off some pics of my newly acquired rig! It’s my first truck (I’m 20) and I’ve always really wanted to own one of these trucks of this specific style (2001-2004) when they changed the styling a bit in ’01. My two previous vehicles were a first generation Z car and a MKIV GTI and thrilled that I’m finally able to own one of these trucks as I have wanted one a long, long time. I don’t what it is, I just remember saying to myself back in ’01 while looking at a red one at a dealership a family member worked at, ‘man those are great looking trucks, I’m going to own one of those someday!’ and ever since have always really admired them and wanted one, so I’m totally stoked to finally own one of these.
After a lot of looking and researching for and about these trucks, I came across this one owner ‘02 TRD at a Toyota dealership. The Carfax report checked out clean and I think the owner before me took pretty good care of it.
So far since I’ve had it I’ve added a Toyota front bug deflector for the hood, Weathertech rubber flootmats, TRD front ‘skid plate’ and Pro Comp 1069 16x8 wheels. Also changed out most of the fluids as well.
I honestly don’t plan to do much else to it modification wise as I’ve always had a vision in my head of how I wanted one of these trucks to look and be, so I couldn’t be happier with it.
Keep in mind I'm a bit of a pic whore, so don't mind all the frickin' pics. I guess I just had fun snappin shot's with the new wheels.:)
BTW, if you’re in the market for stock TRD wheels I’ve got the stock wheels for sale that are in excellent shape that you can check out here http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/buy-sell-trade/88816-fs-02-trd-wheels.html#post1689073

Thanks's for the welcome guy's!! I've been seeing some GREAT looking rigs here from you guys.

Yeah, part of the reason why I wanted one of these trucks is because they seem to 'go forever'.

I think he is referring to the color. Impulse Red Pearl is the color of his truck, same as yours (and mine)!

Is that Lake Washington in the background? Just above Coulon?

Haha, yeah after 15 minutes I posted that it dawned on me and I realized that it must have stood for Impulse Red Pearl.
