The OR PR was always kind of a unique model.

The locker and softer suspension are the 2 biggest differences mechanically between the Sport and OR. The rest is cosmetic.

Sorry about your rig....but congrats on the new one

For some reason mine is not lifted, it does not have much ground clearance. I am looking at a few lifts, would a 3" lift be too high or about average height? What is your opinion

Most people dont go higher than 3 inches, but thats because most have a 4x4 and that causes problems with the cv’s if you go over 3”. Imo, you should utilize the prerunner’s advantage and lift it with some maxtrac spindles. Thatll put you at 4” of lift up front. I have king coilovers on mine right now with 3.5 inches of lift and i am thinking about getting some spindles and lowering the amount of preload i have on my coilovers. Get some dakars out back and you should sit pretty level

3" is low to me cause im at 7". Lol
It's bout average really to clear 285's but theres still a chance of slight rubbing. Like @rjbiii said why not get Maxtrac's & get 4 to clear for sure. You get 4" & don't alter the stock suspension geometry or ride. You also don't have to buy new front shocks if you don't want. If I remember right a basic 4" kit costs around $800.
More than 3" also puts the uca's at a severe angle prerunner & 4x4.
Maxtrac's are the way to go. One of the best parts of my lift for the money I think.
You'd be able to lower your kings like you said & would have a much better ride. Also youd gain a bit more lift in the process. If you ever wanted a little more in the future you could crank the kings back up some.

Do you know if the maxtracs can still be used with my tc ucas? My coilovers are ext travel so id still need to use those with them. It seems like most ppl are buying spindles to avoid needing new ucas.. so when i searched i didnt come up with much..

So how important is having the rear locking differential?

Both rear wheels can lock together providing you with a bit more traction in the rear in mud, snow, etc

Pardon my uneducated questions but do I have to press the button that says rear lock diff or is it something that kicks in automatically

Don't know about TC uca's but they do work with my LR uca's. Marie at Headstrong would be able to answer your question I'm sure.

You press the button when you need the rear locked.

Welcome fellow locked prerunner. You're now part of the elite ranks of the prerunner. Above all SR5 and TRD Sports. The TRD Off Road is the superior prunner.

Remember y'all, prerun hard af in 2018 or Krampus will piss on your wheels.

    All of em.

    The front.

    The rear.

    The left.

    The right.

    The spare....

    The steering wheel....

    Anything round really

This includes pulleys and shit now.

Tires were a given when I said "wheels," @ChadsPride.

I don't do IG either. I don't do social media at all. TW is as close as it gets.
