Wow...What a content rich and intelligent post.

BTW- If you knew anything about who you were posting about. You would know that while I'm in Federal Law Enforcement- I'm all for decriminalization of pot. If you wanna smoke yourself stupider- You go right ahead and do that. (Altho right now it's illegal and you shouldn't do it.)

I'm also for stiffer penalties for any "Under the Influence" mishaps or crimes.
Slow reaction time driving your car and you hit a kid on the way to get White Castle after a blaze-Your ass should get the book plus some. Same with DUI in my opinion. None of this plea bargin bullshit. You do something stupid...You pay the butchers bill. You exercised your rights to smoke and then took someone else's away...That's the real crime.

Damn everybodys getting all offended in this thread...

You can go ahead and think that people who smoke pot are stupid, but that just makes you look stupid. People who dont smoke have a very narrow-minded, simplistic view on "drugs." Drugs have been and are still used for personal and medical reasons for centuries, including marijuana. There is a was in which these "drugs" can be used safely. People (kids) these days do things for the wrong reasons and end up making everybody else look bad. Granted, a lot of people do stupid things when they're high, but those people dont need to be smoke or everybody else needs to calm the fuck down. I would trade alcohol for weed any day. Make pot legal, get rid of alcohol. Alcohol is by far way more dangerous and hazardous on the body.

Open your minds and realize that it's a plant that was here long before any of these laws and regulations. Despite what you can do to it, it is NATURAL. LSD, heroin, crack. Those are drugs.

Don't give yourself that much credit- I don't get offended on the internet.

But when you write stupid stuff- people are probably going to call you on it...

Stupid is more of an opinion than a fact. You think stupid, I think logical. "Burn" may not be the most logical thing to say, but you guys are trying to convince stoners that weed is bad. I really dont think anybody looks all that smart in this thread.

Weed is not a drug, its a plant, and if you so happen to set it on fire, there are some affects- Katt Williams
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWhUqo9Aivs

Seriously its simple and true. Marijuana is a simple plant grown in the ground... Its not burned together in a lab like a real drug. Cigarettes are highly addictive and the average smoker goes threw a hell of alot more cigarettes killing themselves and causing second hand smoke unlike weed. Weed is non-addictive and not nearly used as much yet cigarettes are perfectly legal.

And what about alcohol?? You know there was this thing called Prohibition where alcohol was being banned in the early 1900's huh? seem familiar to whats going on now?.... You can go binge over on alcohol or any hard liquor but not smoke some weed? Ontop of that its been proven that alcohol has more long-turn affects on your body than marijuana.

Now it would also be nice to tax it and make some money. And trust me Marlboro is way ahead of you guys. I give you Marlboro 420's. Yes they are real and they will be sold shortly at Marijuana dispensary's. And once Marijuana is legalized finally they will be sold at most places

I never said weed is bad. It's not anything I'm going to do ever- But if it's your thing-Have fun. There is plenty of science out there to support that one joint = 22 cigarettes (last time I did any reading about weed) and there is plenty of counter-science to state that weed isn't any more harmful than water.
I merely stated that the flow of illegal drugs (which non-taxed weed would be...just like non-taxed fuel, alcohol, etc are) would continue to exist even if it were legalized.

Reckless you made yours comment about not smoking yourself stupid. Both you guys are right-That is an opinion. Most, if not all, of the guys I've met in person who were weed smokers were morons before the drug...and only got dumber when smoking. Sorry if your leading advocates/examples in popular culture are guys like Jay and Silent Bob.

I've seen plenty of potheads to draw the conclusion that I don't need to smoke it because I don't want to act/feel the way those guys act/say they feel. I'll stick to the information I've been trained with and the personal experience I've gained while being young and dumb...

who cares. potheads want it legalized, non-potheads(for the most part) dont really give a crap. as with any debate you will have the extremists on both sides pleading their case. whats the point of this?

oh and for the record-smuggling of illegal(non taxed) alcohol and cigarettes still occurs on a daily basis in the U.S.

Yes. Dope WILL BE legalized sometime in the future no matter who does not like it. There’s lots of money to be made by Corporate America and Uncle Sam. It will also be genetically modified sometime in the future so as to weed out the home growers and to create a monopoly. Start your seed banks now before government backed “Monsanto” fcuks you up the ass like they did to the Soya been farmers. It will be regulated and taxed just like cigarettes and alcohol. Independent and private growers will be sued and/or do jail time.

The government does not care about us, the people to keep marijuana illegal. They care about how much money they and their buddies can make while in office and how to further bleed the tax payer out of their disposable income.

If companies like Halliburton, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac has a stake in “Marijuana Inc”, dope would have been legalized decades ago and today, law enforcement would have better things to do than run around busting kids with a joint or two thereby destroying their future.

The entire system is so fcuked up and out of order that the masses at some point will need to be drunk or stoned to cope with life failing which the people will revolt against too much government and taxes.
