I think I would rather mount behind seats inside where it's nice and comfy. lol

I defiantly would have gotten the twin if i had to "pay" for it.

A bonus is it is out of the elements. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm not sure how much you plan on wheeling lol so the single might be too much as well.

I had the Twin and sold it cause its too much unless you're running lockers and airing up like peter is. Even the single is a lot. You can buy a Viair for much cheaper that will work fine.

Just remember you can't run air tools off the single. So its only real purpose is locker or airing up.

Yea I went with the twin for several reasons, I have it mounted under the hood next to the windsheild washer fluid. I bought the Slee off road mount for it. I have a AC so mounting inside the cab was really not an option. I take it out for the winter, since I dont use it anyway. Takes less than 1/2 hour for install / removal now that the mount is already installed. You just unbolt / bolt the compressor in and unhook the wiring.

I also modified my mount slightly because I am not using the manifold yet.

I was going to go with the single when I sold my twin then saw the Viair 400P.

Same CFM, same duty cycle, cheaper price and just as highly rated and don't need to worry about mounting.
Don't care for the expo points lol, besides you only get high expo points if its the twin like peter has.

If you can get the single or twin for a good price or free like peter did its worth it. But otherwise the Viair is a great option. Wouldn't get the ARB if I had to pay full.

Other issue I had with the twin was where to mount it.
Like peter said I dont want it in the elements and its hard to fit under the hood for me cause where all the kits mount it is where my second battery will be.

Seems the ones who go full retard and do all of this become popular.

On the highway, they give off a low-volume howl simlar to big rigs. Still way quieter with less annoying sound pitch than the Firestone Winterforce UV tires they replaced.
Wow, I had no idea the KO2 is that bad in the rain.

This came today. I thought the guy ordered the wrong one when I saw the size of the box. It looks so much larger in pics. It's only 7 inches long and 6 inches high. I'm still shocked it's that small.

Nice. I was the opposite of you. Couldn’t believe the size and just wondered where the hell am I going to mount it. Think everything is going to be going in my cap. Close to the fuse panel and electrical system. Plus I’m thinking I’ll have all the electrical solonoids and air tank in there too.

For a supposedly weather-hardened design, that electrical connector is decidedly cheap... For the price you are paying, ARB should've included a sealed Deutch connector like Rigid LEDs:

So was I. Fully loaded 2500 cargo van with wire, boxes, conduit etc and it was fucking terrible with those tires once they got older. After a year or so they were scary

Not sure if duetsch could handle the current. I'm looking at buying them right now for my lighting haven't seen much over the 25 amp rating unless you're getting into 100 amp plus and the ARB is 40 amp.

But could use an Anderson connector instead. Just something that's weather tight
