Dirt designs also has a hefty spindle that would support a bump stop on the uca

    Huh?

    Clear that up for me.

I’m trying to steer someone away from the problem I had? Maybe you don’t remember. If you use the dirt king hoop you can’t use the factory bumpstop.

Plus this forum was pretty much split on what to do bumpstop no bumpstop.

Sorry for trying to help. This forum is a joke. Unsubbed.

    See how stupid you sound?

Question for the FAB guys. I'm looking into getting a Tube bender with dies. Reading around I see people use a 4.5 CLR and a 6.0 CLR Die. Looking at JD Squres they have a 5.5 CLR and a 6.5 CLR. Which one should I go with? Thoughts?

what are you going to be bending? Thats what you need to think about when deciding on the radius of the die. You might need both if you need a tight bend somewhere. Or you might not.

Id think the smaller one would be handy for the cab cage. You could make the corners tighter to the cab. But that's only for the C pillar really. So probably not supper required. Id think the bigger die would be more useful but do some measuring and figure out how you want think to look.

Found this. Looks like the 5.5 would be fine. Reading around people say it doesn’t deform the tube that much. Especially DOM.

yeah deformation is also important. Looks good to go with a 5.5!

I have the 6.5 jd2 and it's definitely to big for a cab cage unless you want most of the cab in bends and not straight sections so I'm going to borrow my buddies 5.5 when I get time for that project.

With my dmz kit I'm running 18" straps. But I'm sure anything from 16-20 would work depending on where you mount it
