I was going to buy an older 4Runner private party and took it to Dolan Toyota to get an inspection done. Seemed like they did a though job with the report I got but I was also talked into a Tacoma in the meantime :burnrubber:

oh cool i wasn't sure they'd do a uesd car inspection. Doubtful they will talk me into a Tacoma though since their used inventory is slim pickin's and don't want to pay 40k new. Thanks!

Is Denio back up and running? When I was there last year all the booze had been removed. And the dollars bills were taken down too which was a bummer. They actually had them all in a big tupperware box and let us go through them and find ours. We found three out of the four. Pretty funny. They also let us go grab beers outta of our coolers and drink them at the bar :drunk:

Same when I was there late last year. I was very surprised they had gas though.

That shit is always hit or miss too. I'd prefer they have whisky over gas but that's just me :D

Shit I don't know. The last time I was there was late the same summer we were through there. That is a bummer, that denio burger is my favorite.

Lucky Beaver? They have good beer/food and good parking. And it's pretty central.

Alright. It seems there is enough interest in a overland bar crawl to start some planning. I can see this working one of three ways.

    1. .We all start in Western nevada and head eastward, hitting a few bars, and camping along the way

    Or

    2. We all start in Eastern nevada and head westward, hitting a few bars, and camping along the way.

    Or

    3. We start in the East and the West at the same time with a group from each area, hitting bars along the way and meeting up all together around Diana's Punch bowl for a final night...

    I like option three. Opinions?

You probably won't have enough people to have two groups. I would vote east > west.

I don't mind starting at either end. It's only a 4 hour drive from Reno to Elko or vice versa.

    Sounds good to me.

I’m good with starting on either side of the state and sticking together. What are you thinking for time of year?

Awesome. We should get another thread going and hammer down dates and plans. Memorial Day doesn’t work for me but the rest of the month I’m free. Super stoked!
