    I tried doing it that way but it wasn’t budging, I stopped because I didn’t want to break the damn thing. My hands are still cut up from doing it last week & I almost gave up. One of the damn bulbs came out of the socket & fell into the housing, it almost drove me insane. I had to bend a wire hanger & try & fish the bulb back out. I finally got it after about 45 min. Safe to say I’m glad to hear that the front cover does actually come off if I need to change them!

    Honestly I just don't understand why automakers are still putting chrome all over the place on new vehicles. Black or color-matched looks sooooo much better.
