TRD Pro Grille for $140?

Install was pretty easy and fits the forward sensor perfectly.

 

3 weeks later and I received my missing letters from Areyourshop. After 3 orders and 2 months of waiting I finally have something I can install tomorrow.

The letters are all one color but have a metallic finish so still may spray paint them flat black to match.

 

Got mine today from yan-linm on ebay. Box was pretty beat up and has two broken tabs (both the outermost on the left and right side). Also appers to be the one piece. What is the difference between the one and two piece so I can confirm? Also the letters for the T and A are bigger and have the grey paint extending to the larger portion.

 

One piece has stick on letters. Two people the center part detached and has the letters permanently fixed to it. Sounds like you have a one piece.

I contacted them through eBay about a replacement so we will see if they can replace it. I am not surprised it was damaged with the way it was packaged.

 

Jb weld plastic epoxy. Stuff is incredible. I broke the tab on my tweeter cover and used it. Was as strong as the plastic after curing. That’s what I plan on doing when if mine come broken.

 

Dang that’s who i ordered mine from too. Hope it doesn’t look like that. That’s a bummer.

 

Received my grille today from Areyoushop. No broken tabs no blemishes on the surface. There is some excess plastic on the edges from the molding. But I don’t see it being an issue because it should be hidden by the grille housing. I’ll post some pictures when I get home. Going to get some red paint for the letters.

I ordered one from eBay that came with one broken tab and one twisted tab. The letters are shipped unattached but go on easily. The two end letters are painted slightly differently so I was going to touch them up but really don't think anyone would notice once installed. Some folks on here told me how to fix the tabs but I decided I'm going to just count my losses. If anyone on here is more mechanically gifted than me and wants a shot at it, all I'd ask for is the cost of shipping (I'm in Wyoming). Maybe a cold beer someday!

I just ordered mine from Areyoushop. We'll see how it goes

 

Mine was nearly perfect. No broken tabs. All letters came in the box. Only thing I had was a scratch. But my box was also damaged so it’s possible it happened from shipping. And if anyone is going to paint the bottom of the T and A to make the grille I would recommend Kryon flat black color masters spray paint. Matches nearly identically.
