I agree! and the reviews are great, plus I know its a good brand, used their bed covers before on my old ranger in high school.

 

Well I got my cheep ass CAI finished. Trimmed the air tube a bit more for a better fit. Made a heat/mud shield out of some plexiglass and some slotted angle Steel. Now it's pulling air mostly through the grill and fender areas. Not even romotely as good as the legit ones, but for ~40 bucks (filter included) I think it'll do!! Oh and a kobalt sticker... why not

It's just the 440lb $99 Harbor Freight electric hoist. I got it with a 25% off coupon, so you should at least use their standard 20% off coupon. It's dark out now, but I'll take more pics tomorrow.

I'm good. Cow ran out on to the road, I jammed the brakes on but snow and ice on the road didn't agree. Cow slid about 8 feet and jumped back up and ran off.

When stupid shit happens.

Take the truck in for service and forget to leave out the wheel locks for the TRD Rock Warrior wheels.

They check the console safe for the tools which is unlocked and empty. And forget to latch the console vaults spring loaded lid before closing the console lid.



Meaning the press in console latch cannot release because the safe lid is in the way. So it is stuck shut, jammed by a safe.



So how to close the spring loaded safe lid without being able to open the console lid so the latch release can clear without causing damage.

Drain and fill the AT and rotate the tires. Dealership is also doing the frame inspection as part of the recall. Normally if do the AT service but it's 10 degrees outside so I bit the bullet and brought it too the dealer
