Did you guys figure out which bike Brandon needs today? I managed to get some riding in out in the high desert despite it being January.

I dunno what that is... but is it nice. :D

I probably should wait until after I close on property to throw money at toys. Next offer shall be sent in the morning since the last sellers/property are trying to scam out of state buyers with an inaccurate description and corresponding price.

Yep, lotsa of shenanigans with land sales. One reason why they are very hard to finance and thus cash purchases

No, you should have bought my 200 earlier this year. Already have my 150 titled, my brother just rides on the street and doesn't bother.

Based on what you said you want to do, I would stick with a 4 stroke. And then when you figure out you want to ride technical single track because it's way more fun, get a 2 stoke. :D

Yup. For example "Power-YES" Nope asshole, power is ~1mile away... likely $40k
"Bring your horses" yeah, bring them but you cant water their asses without additional water rights. ($3-6k on top of a well)

The lot is priced as if the power just needed to be connected from the edge of the property and it had appropriate water rights. I didnt care since I was going off grid, and offered according to what's actually there. I'm sure its a violation of the MLS listing guidelines... but whatever.

My biggest question would be about elevation. But I'm at 10k and will zip around this area so it should be fine. But will a carb'd bike need to be adjusted if I took it to moab at 4k elevation?

No, just jet for a slightly lean Moab and you should be ok everywhere in CO. I always changed jets because I had it down to 10 minutes though.

If you want just 1 jetting make sure you carry extra plugs and a tool kit to change it

Gotcha. I've cleaned and adjusted carbs on a few bikes. But they were all at elevation of 10.... so not much to adjust no matter how far I rode.

Not really, weather effects the carbs more than elevation. Thumpers have had efi for a while, so you may not even deal with it.

I got a ticket to one concert at the Cheyenne Frontier Days, although I'll probably go north then across instead of 25. :p
