Oh man, I know the feeling. I am in the north east and it is a damn disaster with this weather. I can’t wait until it warms up so I can spend four hours detailing my truck.

Took it in and they did the update. Early returns show improved shifting. Tech told me to give it several weeks to adjust to my driving style.

More pics of your truck please. Want to see those BFG KO2s on the sport rims. I have the same setup and am looking to get KO2s white letters out in the future.

EXCELLENT NEWS! Thanks. Mine is coming up on the 10k soon enough. I'll have to ask about it.

Edit - Oh wait, is this for 2016's only? I have a 2017.

My last vehicle was a 2015 Rav 4 le, it was comfortable took it back to Detroit a few years ago about an 8 hour or so trip. The awd system was great in the snow, the fuel economy was about 22 mpg, I have a heavy foot. But in the end I missed having a truck after a few years and now I am back in another Taco.

That is what I'm afraid of if I trade my truck off. I may just trade for a silver SR or get this black paint Line-X'ed. I don't know why the hell I bought another black truck. Only other thing wrong with this truck other than being black is the a/c system reeks of cow manure. (It needs the evap core cleaned)

Only if you are not making any turns, and not off roading. There is very little if any room for movement of the tire. First decent bump you hit and you will rub. I had the 275s with a OME 2” lift. I was fine on the highway but first off road trail and a lot of rubbing. I went down to 265/70s to give more room for the tires to play. Even with 265/70s some people have had rubbing with OEM mud flaps.

Actually, you wouldn't be so bad off with a 4Runner Trail, and a utility trailer. I miss the roomieness of the 4R compared to the DBL Cab LB Taco. What I hated was hooking up the trailer or worse, the cargo basket to run to the dump. That basket was ok but man, what a hassle. Now I am done and ready to go in like 20 minutes.

She has the 2016 SE in silver. She's very happy with it, though think she wanted the dark purple or eggplant color i think they had. Handles well on long trips. Not sure of harsh cold weather as we are in Florida.

Roomy enough, but think she is eyeing the highlander.

    A few minor things...
Do you happen to know the dimension (center to center) of the holes you mounted that to? I have a plate I'm going to mount but don't know the dimensions. It's cold as f*** here and I'd rather not fumble about outside if I don't have to!

    Thanks!

Installed my bed lights (finally). Instead of tie it into the door lights, I found this magnetic switch on sale at O'Reillys auto parts store. So when I open the tailgate, the lights automatically come on! It does have a small override switch in case I want to keep the lights off while the tailgate is open.

I have the lights directly connected to the battery (with inline fuse) so that they turn on whenever I need them to.
