Hey guys, anyone have any personal experience with the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires. Please post your thoughts, pros and cons any problems with balancing, etc. I want to hear all about these tires.

Edit : If you can post some pic's that would be great. Thanks !

Had them on my Jeep Wrangler and were great tires, They ran about 45000 miles before needing to be replaced. Worked really well on and off road.

I've had them for 2 years now, 27k miles. Very pleased with them but wished they came in a 275/70/17 or 255/80/17. Mine are 265/70/17. Always seem to be cheaper than the more popular tires on TW.

No issues with balancing or noise, been very good in rain, sand, dirt and snow. Havent really tried them in the mud. Truck is daily driven, 40 miles round trip for my commute.

No gripe with the tire othe than wishing for the additional sizes.

What psi are you running, assuming you still have the same setup?

I'm thinking about nitto's as well since my first car has the neogens and they've treated me well. Nitto's or Falken is up in the air right now.

I think they’re great. On my 1st gen I went thru 4 sets 60k on each set never an issue , always balanced great. Now on my second gen I have a set of 285/70/17 balanced great, no issues at any speeds. Oh, have a set on my wife’s 4 runner also.

I'm happy with them, had the first set for 45k miles and bought another set this time in 285.

Great tire for the price, very light too.
