I have searched for one of these unicorns, and come home empty every time. Sweet shooter right there. I settled for a Browning BL22, it’s nice, but that levermatic is the cats ass.

I'm leaving that scope on the 308. I need a scope for the 223! Ive shot the 308 out to 1200 yards with that 4-14x44. Max I'm gonna shoot the 223 is going to be around 800 maybe (hopefully!)

Then I would suggest this one. If you are not noticing, the scopes are specifically designed for a caliber so that you can use the BDC reticle or the turrets, once again I highly recommend it

If you were going to upgrade on your 308 in that price point I would definitely suggest the ATHLON HELOS SCOPE! It is a bitchen scope and definitely a step above their Argo’s

Well i went with an Athlon scope but i got an Argo model. It was discounted pretty good and has fantastic reviews.

6-24x50 so little more scope than i intended, maybe I'll put it on my 308 and put the primary arms on my 223. Maybe not, idk.

I don't. I'm not a good enough shot to justify anything more than your basic Bushnell, Simmons, or Tasco

Could be, but I doubt it. I've shot guns that cost more than my truck before and haven't shot them any better than my Savage 111 with a Simmons 3-9 on it. Which may be a good thing, because then I'd feel like I was missing out  I'm not worried until I start missing the X-ring on deer, rabbits, and squirrels.

If I remember right I've got a Simmons on my 111, a Bushnell on my 700 & Savage 64, and a Tasco on my .35Rem and my old Marlin .22 and I'm pretty much equally accurate with all of them. They're all MOA-ish (although past 100 yards the .35 is more like 'hour-of-accuracy' because of drop), which is good enough for me. I don't shoot competitively, so as long as they shoot minute-of-squirrel, rabbit, or deer I'm content.

I had a Tasco red dot on my .243 it was my first rifle and first scope and it was cheap. I shot my first deer at 300 yards with it. It never let me down either.

More recently, I bought a Radical Firearms 5.56/.223 AR-15 for a SMOKING DEAL that I couldn't pass up on Primary Arms this past "Black Friday." I just put a bushnell TRS-25 red dot on it. It seems to be good quality for the money. I just ordered the Bushnell flip over magnifier to accompany it. Should be in tomorrow. I'm stoked.

Nice, but I liked the Laminate over the rattlecan black. :notsure:
