The HD recovery hook replaces the factory one on the bottom passenger side right?

Is this plate different than the Gen 2 skid plate Matt? Does the 3rd Gen plate have to be removed to do an oil change? I couldn't find an answer while going through the pages.

How durable are those skids for occasional rock touching?

From what I've heard these skids are far more durable than the anything aluminum. If your touching rocks you'll want steel from what I've heard.

I've had Mobtown off-road skids before that took the abuse and did fine, although they are 3/16 and those are 10g... I am moving to a MT TuRd gen, so need another set of skids and my new year resolution is to loose some weight haha
Anyone took them on some mediocre rock climbing? Would appreciate input.
