It has been a long time coming, but we can finally hold our heads up and say we made mistakes letting illegals in, now we need to fix it. Washington won't, so we have to.

Yes. Definitely a day to be happy that we have a Governor who isn't afraid to be in the spotlight making decisions like this.

There is a thread around here that became locked earlier today on this subject. Look through it and you will find a lot of good info and a couple good links on the bill and a copy of Governor Brewers statement when she signed it. Very professional.

yeah, it sounds great in theory, but the first american hispanic man that gets checked for no reason and sues the shit out of arizona, the police department, and the governor for racial profiling is going to win.

and if you think you would be fine getting randomly checked for citizenship, try it. I spent some time in Russia, getting stopped by their security for "passport inspection" every 15 feet in the subway because I had some friends with me from Turkey, darker skin than the police thought should have been there. trust me, it pisses you off pretty damn quick.

 

This law reminds me of the Nazi Germany, remember? when being a Jew in Germany was a crime? whats next, criminalizing poverty??

The guy that gets pulled over and doesn't speak English, has no driver license, and has 22 others just like him in the back seat, isn't being racially profiled.

 

ok what about the guy that has a Hispanic heritage, looks like an illegal, but he was born as an American, and now he gets stopped and checked just because the way he looks? It is racist.

 

Well now.....lets see here. I am a Jew and I actually had relatives that were burned, killed whatever you want to call it. Now lets compare apples to apples here. We are not talking about eliminating a whole race.

Read the bill, there is alot of fear spin on it. Nothing has changed except that a LEO can now ascertain if the individual is undocumented or not. Which to be honest with you they were already able to do. They just could not act upon it. Which in it's self is bullshit. If they are undocumented and if they have not been deported previously then it is a misdemeanor. If this is #2 or more then they are charged with a felony for tresspassing and jailed. Pretty simple.

If you are are in this country because you snuck in or were smuggled in, YOU ARE ILLEGAL....Correct.

Legal Hispanic Americans here in this country also lost jobs or wages because of illegals willing to work for less. If I am wrong stop me at anytime. I look at it this way. If you were not invited here through the proper channels and are here illegally then get the hell out. I will help them take their shit to the border. If they want to do it the legal way, I will help them bring their stuff north.

They have no right to trample on the laws that so many had to follow for so long just so they can reap our benefits, and liberties.

What would happen to an American that went to Mexico illegally and get caught. You probably don't know because that individual was probably never heard from again.
